As I write this, at exactly 12AM, a bunch of questions come to mind: Should I go eat some more of that leftover pasta in the fridge? When should I re-ask my mom about when I'm getting my new phone? Where could I get a fanny pack and visor that make me look like an elderly Asian tourist? So far, my mind's telling me no, but my body (my body) is telling me to go eat that pasta and ignore the scale for a few days.

I honestly don't know what else to write here because I'm already picturing myself eating and it's making me even more hungry with every breath. Oh! Almost forgot to mention that this wondrous Sunday was spent watching Disney and other animated musical singing videos on YouTube.

It Has Literally Been A Month

This post is like the wordy equivalent to seeing an old acquaintance at a reunion..you haven't seen me in a while, kinda know who I am, but we're not THAT close. There's a difference though, you actually care where I've been (or am I just that self absorbed?). So let's get down to it.

I have no excuse for my month and one day hiatus, I am just lazy as hell, as simple as that. For God sake, I'm a high school senior with only TWO classes, and one of them I don't even need credit-wise. I'm also proud and ashamed to say I take a nap a day. In this month's time I have had my work shown in Goddard Riverside Community Center, helped curate an art show by Teen Art Gallery, volunteered at an art initiative for cute and monstrous children, and ate a beautiful veggie burger. You really missed out.

Why is it so hard to spell gouache? I spent countless minutes (felt like centuries) trying to spell this word before I swallowed my pride enough to Google it. 

Anywho, I'm doing a Body Image/Beauty series to be showcased at the Cue Foundation Gallery. I know, my life is basically a Beyonce song. No, actually I'm just lucky enough to be apart of a wonderful art program. Same difference.

Dirty Mouth?

Recently I uploaded these two pictures on my Instagram  as a two part series. I had no objectives for them prior, they were just a result of random Google searches of teeth and toothaches; I had just come back from visiting the dentist so I had a brief interest in people's mouths.

I'm New To This...Kinda.

I'm kinda (kind of?) new to this whole "blogging" thing. 

I used to have one, as simple as that, but it was more of a requirement in my computer class in high school. It was everything you would think it would be, plus a little more angst and weird wording. I used to type like a melodramatic sloth—excessive exclamation marks and unnecessary letters at the end of each word. Now that I look back, I totally deserved that C+ in English.  This time everything's different though, if I end up typing with bad grammar and punctuation errors it's because my autocorrect is a douche and I'm too lazy to double check for mistakes. 

This introduction is looking a bit on the long kind, let's cut to the chase now.. 

My name is Chaya, I'm a Libra (I don't really know why I have to mention that, just seemed right), I own a sweet pair of ovaries (they were half off at Target), and this is my blog OddMosesJones that will loosely contain my art, designs, interests.
